the bottlecap is immobilized by awe, tantalized by the size and the sparkle, mesmerized, unable to think of escape. it will be gone soon, absorbed into the rings of data like an asteroid caught in Saturn's overwhelming gravity. trapped. crushed. returned from matter to energy. home.
